Chelsea Football Club owner, Roman Abramovich is reportedly interested in bringing Real Madrid’s hot prospect Marco Asensio to the Bridge should the La Liga Champions decide to sign Belgian, Eden Hazard.
According to reports, The Russian billionaire is believed to be a huge fan of the Spanish Prodigy who broke out of Madrid academy the same way he was head over heels with Ukraine International, Andriy Shevchenko then.
The report stated that he is willing to allow Hazard leave for the Bernabeu but the condition will be that Asensio has to move in the opposite direction.
Real President, Florentino Perez is deemed to be keen on adding the fast-feet former Lille forward, Hazard to his forward line but with Chelsea demands, he might have to reconsider his options.
However, Asensio is allegedly considering a move away from the Bernabeu due to insufficient game time to continue his development, a move which might be similar to that of fan’s favourite, Alvaro Morata.
In his recent interview, the young Spanish forward stated that he is calm about his current situation although we will not be quick to forget how young player can commit today and move tomorrow.
He said: “It is difficult to manage a squad as good as our own, but the Manager [Zidane] knows he can count on me.
“I work hard every day to earn more minutes, but I am aware of where I am.
“I am at the best club in the world and I am happy at Real Madrid.”
