I admire Salah a lot as a Player – Zidane

Real Madrid Manager, Zinedine Zidane says he admires Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as a player as rumors have it that Real Madrid are interested in the striker.

Salah has been in a spectacular form for Liverpool so far this season as he has notched 19 goals in 25 games thus giving the Reds dividends for the club record fee of an initial £42 million that could rise to £50 million that was spent in bringing him to Anfield.

Madrid parted ways with Alvaro Morata and James Rodriquez [a 2-year loan deal to Bayern Munich] during the close season and they failed to bring in new additions, a decision that has been linked to their attacking struggles this season as super-star, Christiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema hasn’t been in their best form and Gareth Bale has been absent for a major part of the season so far due to reoccurring injuries.

Zidane, when asked by an Egyptian journalist at the Club World Cup about reports that continue to link Salah with Los Blancos, Zidane said “He [Salah] is an amazing player, he [has] shown that in Roma, now Liverpool. “He is still young and improving all the time, I don’t like to talk about other players, but he is one I admire a lot”.
