Germany confirm November friendly matches against England and France
The German Football Federation (DFB) has announced that the reigning world champions will play friendly matches against England and France in November.
Joachim Löw’s men, who qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after a record-breaking ten-match campaign, will travel to London to face the Three Lions at Wembley on 10 November, before hosting Les Bleus in Cologne four days later.
Germany faced England as recently as March, winning 1-0 in a friendly game in Dortmund, where Lukas Podolski marked his final Germany appearance with the winning goal. Die Mannschaft‘s last meeting with France came in the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2016, when France won 2-0 in Marseille.
Germany will discover their opponents next summer when the World Cup group stages are drawn in Moscow on 1 December.
