Inter and Juventus target, Nicolo Barella has penned a new agreement with Cagliari which will see him remain at the club till 2022.
It has been reported that several top teams are interested in the young Italian midfielder’s signature after he broke into the team two years ago.
The 20-year old, who made his full debut two seasons ago has already featured for the Italian national team and has made 57 Serie A appearances for Cagliari.
He was with the Italian team that finished third in the 2017 FIFA under-20 World cup which held in South Korea.
Barella’s pace, composure and ability to dictate play from the middle of the pack is his major strength and Inter Milan are reported to have offered €25 million for the phenomenal midfielder although it is yet to be seen if Cagliari president, Giulini will be interested in any deal to see his youngster leave.
With this new contract, Inter and Juventus may have to wait some more to get any chance of signing this young prospect who has scored twice in the Serie A this season and has also made an assist.
