Former Inter Milan goalkeeper, Julio Cesar has stated that bringing Lisandro Lopez and compatriot, Rafinha to San Siro would be a brilliant business for Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri are likely to complete Lopez signing in only a matter of days as it has been reported that the Benfica defender has agreed to personal terms and might be having his medicals on Monday.
And the Brazilian goalkeeper who played with the 28-year old Argentine at their time at Lisbon believes he will make an instant impact in Inter.
“Other than on the pitch, he will make his presence felt in the dressing room,” the former Inter stopper commented.
“He is a good man for the dressing room. He is a great boy, he likes to laugh and knows how to get on with everyone.
“I am sure he will integrate very quickly. I will call him soon in order to wish him good luck.”
Cesar while questioned what he thinks about Lopez minimal appearance for Benfica so far this season, he said: “That’s how football goes. Every Coach makes his decisions.
“But even if Lisandro didn’t play much, we knew Lisandro was there. He made himself heard.”
Although bringing Rafinha to Italy from Barcelona is still far from reality, Brazilian Cesar thinks the signing of his countryman would also represent a brilliant business for the Italian club.
“We have never been in a team together, so I hardly know him.
“But it’s not difficult to imagine that someone with his talent wouldn’t want to play a bit-part role anymore.
“Inter are doing well. We shouldn’t forget that they are a new team with a new Coach.”
