AC Milan is holding on to the defender, Gustavo Gomez despite intense interest from Boca Juniors.
The Paraguay international has seen very limited action this season as he has appeared once for only 10-minutes all season and it looks like he isn’t part of Milan plans.
Argentinian club, Boca Juniors are keen on signing the centre-back but the San Siro team is unlikely to let him go for any fee less than their asking price.
According to reports from Sky Sports Italia, an agreement could not be reached for a move for the defender today as the two clubs are yet to meet each other’s terms.
Boca Juniors have requested to take Gomez on loan for 18 months with a compulsory option to buy, but there are reported differences in the cost of that operation.
It is expected that they will keep trying and make another proposal tomorrow.
